After several years of study and professional experience in China, Moriba, Aboubacar and Sayon had a wide range of international opportunities ahead of them. They immersed themselves in a new culture, learned a new language and developed sought-after skills across many industries. Yet they chose to return to Guinea and contribute to their country’s development.
Today, their journeys have converged at the Simandou project. Moriba works in logistics, Aboubacar in procurement and Sayon in information technology. Three different career paths, but one shared belief: the skills gained abroad find their greatest value when they contribute to the development of their home country.
In their day-to-day roles, each brings their expertise to support teams and operations.
For Aboubacar, a Procurement Analyst, joining Simandou was about far more than a career opportunity.

For Moriba, Supervisor Logistics, contributing to the project is first and foremost about finding solutions and supporting teams in addressing day-to-day challenges. He explains:
