Women are shaping the future of Simandou every day

On the occasion of the International Day of Women in Mining, celebrated on June 15, Rio Tinto SimFer celebrates the women who contribute every day to the success of the Simandou project.

Today, thousands of women across SimFer and our partners and suppliers are contributing to the development of the project, across a wide range of fields including engineering, geology, operations, health and safety, human resources, and many others.

Behind these figures are committed women whose expertise, discipline, and leadership help drive forward one of the world’s most ambitious mining and infrastructure projects.
